ICE Quartet

Back in 2014 a cut down version of Octoboptet played a gig at La Brocca, the late legendary Jazz bar in West Hampstead London NW6. This Band comprised Mick Foster Baritone Sax, Geoff Mason Trombone, Simon Whiteside Piano and Simon Little Bass. When the Institution of Civil Engineers Approached Simon Little about a quartet that might Jazz up their Award ceremonies the ICE quartet emerged. We have been breaking the ice playing our bouncy form of west coast jazz on numerous occasions over the past year or more. Recently we laid down some original West coast inspired compositions and our Bari & Bone EP is now available.
